Pretty solid food joint with a lot of options in North Wildwood.
Atmosphere: Small but lots of room on a Friday evening. Order at the front and pay and they bring it to your table.
Food: Opted for the seasonal salad because #health. Added blackened shrimp. The greens were fresh, the shrimp was delicious, and the dressing was nice and tart. Overall it was delicious. In contradiction to #health, we also ordered the jerk fries and onion petals. The jerk fries were well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and had a good kick to it. The white cheddar sauce was super hot and complemented the fries well. The onion petals were delicious as well and a nice change from onion rings. They also didn't feel too oily. My partner got the mahi mahi wrap and the fish was really, really flakey and fresh and tasty. Everything is reasonably affordable.
Service: Quick and friendly. -

Hot mess truly is a hot mess. This food has to be my favorite from this place. It's similar to fried oreos, and it's so soft that it almost melts in my mouth and I just love the taste of it. I also got their Shoobie burger, and it was good. Nothing special other than the buns being really thick.
They also have a little jenga on the table that you can play with and I thought it was cute. I didn't really like their staff though. They just seemed like they hate their lives working there. First, they just stared at me when I walked in and didn't even say hello or anything. I also thought it was weird when one of the workers stared at me without really answering when I asked if I can take the chair in one of the tables that he was eating lunch at. I came with a group of 5, and this place only has tables for 2 or 4 people.
I walked about 15minutes from Wildwood to come here because I heard good things. However, I didn't find this place too special and you can probably find better places to eat around here. -

Some friends and I stopped by this place for some dinner while we were in the area. When we walked in, we were greeted by their very kind staff and they showed us the menu. The interior is a bit small and cannot seat that many people, but it was very clean.
I ordered the truffle fries and their Shoobie burger. The fries were delicious-- it was very nicely seasoned and the flavor wasn't too overwhelming. The burger was a good size and came with chips on the side. The burger was very juicy and delicious, but I didn't find anything too special about the burger.
Overall, I liked the environment of this restaurant and would come back again if I'm craving burgers. -

A lot of food for the money for the Shore. But my pastrami sandwich was soaked solid with Russian dressing, overwhelming the sandwich. Not much flavor otherwise. Staff friendly.
